Within the framework of the JEDI ROHU 452 project, we were asked to organise a consultation for graduate students in order to present the labour market situation in the Hungarian-Romanian border region.
On 08 September 2022, 3 of our institutions, Szeged SZC Déri Miksa Technical College, Szeged SZC Móravárosi Vocational School and Szeged SZC Csonka János Technical College, provided the venue for the programmes.
During the lectures, a Hungarian and a Romanian lecturer provided the students with comprehensive information on employment opportunities, legal and tax conditions on both sides of the Romanian-Hungarian border.
Thanks to the speakers, Dr. Erzsébet Tőtös, who presented the information on employment in Romania, and Olga Czenke, a government official from the Employment Department of the Csongrád-Csanád County Government Office, who provided information on job opportunities in Hungary.
