DKMT Danube-Kris-Mures-Tisa Euroregional Development Agency Non-profit Public Benefit Ltd.

One of the partners of the Joint Employment-Driven Initiative project is the DKMT Danube-Kris-Mures-Tisa Euroregional Development Agency Non-profit Public Benefit Ltd. Founded on 21 November 1997, the DKMT Euroregion aims to support and encourage cooperation between local authorities, local communities, economic actors and citizens in all areas that can contribute to the European integration and social and economic development of the region. The institutions of the DKMT (General Assembly, Secretariat, Development Agency) primarily play a coordinating role, participating in the elaboration of Euroregional development programs and the implementation of projects.

In the project, the main tasks of DKMT Danube-Kris-Mures-Tisa Euroregional Development Agency Non-profit Public Benefit Ltd. are the following:

  • carrying out case studies on best practices in similar areas of cross-border employment in the field of employment promotion;
  • organizing a study tour to the site of the best practice identified in the case studies;
  • preparation of a survey on the exact labor market needs of economic organizations operational in the Hungarian-Romanian border region;
  • preparation of a situation analysis on the supply and demand side of the labor market of the Hungarian-Romanian border region;
  • drawing up a cross-border regional strategy, focusing on those segments where there is a growing shortage of skilled labor;
  • organization of information events (22) for labor market participants;
  • the establishment of a so-called Info Point, the main task of which is to collect and manage labor market knowledge in the Hungarian-Romanian border region.
